Having quality assurance in products and services is important for the company. Quality assurance is used as a measuring instrument for credibility and a reference for continuously improving the quality management system. One of them is through ISO 9001 certification, which is an international standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). In addition, there’s also ISO 14001 which is used as a guide in managing the impact of company activities on the environment.
As a manifestation of Medion’s commitment to always focus on quality and the environment, Medion has succeeded in maintaining the ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications which were obtained in 2017 from the TUV Rheinland Indonesia on their 2nd Surveillance Audit. This event was held on 23-25 May 2022 in a hybrid form (offline and online), starting with the submission of an audit plan by TUV Rheinland and followed by an audit of the company’s activities in Design & Manufacturing Product and Marketing & Distribution. Then ends with the presentation of the results and conclusions stating:
- Medion has used ISO 9004 as a guide and tool to assess the consistency of the implementation of the quality management system including the determination of organizational strategy and systematic implementation as an effort to always develop with all the changes that exist in achieving sustainable business goals.
- Medion is committed to the integration of the implementation of quality and environmental management systems to achieve its vision and mission.
This success was realized thanks to the contribution and cooperation of all Medion work units in supporting the 2nd Surveillance Audit ISO 9001 & 14001. Might the spirit and commitment from Medion will live on in realizing product and service quality assurance and prioritizing environmental safeness in the future.
