On September 10th, 2024, Medion welcomed the third visit from strategic partners from Egypt to its factory in Cimareme, Bandung. The delegation comprised attended by 15 attendees, including the Egyptian distributor team, company owners, university consultants, and customers from the Egyptian distributor. The Medion team included Benny Unandar, Managing Director for International Market, and Andri Yulius, Assistant Manager.
During the visit, guests toured the production facilities and observed the vaccine manufacturing process. The production is overseen by qualified personnel in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 quality management systems. All Medion products are manufactured following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Veterinary Medicine Manufacturing Practices (CPOHB), adhering to international standards such as the United States Department of Agriculture, European and British Pharmacopoeia, and the Indonesian Animal Health Pharmacopoeia. Medion has successfully met the rigorous requirements of GMP inspections conducted by Egyptian authorities, despite the strict criteria for GMP compliance and product registration.
One participant remarked that the Medion poultry vaccine factory facilities are excellent, equipped with comprehensive resources and supported by expert personnel. The Egyptian distributor is confident and optimistic that sales of Medion vaccine products will significantly increase in the future, a sentiment bolstered by the fact that Egypt has the largest poultry population in Africa.
The guests were also invited to experience the beauty of Bali from September 11-13, 2024, including activities such as a phinisi boat tour and off-road jeep adventures.
