Medion, a producer of pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and livestock equipment, is well-known for the quality of its products. This is evidenced by its expanding market share; for over 20 years, Medion has distributed its products across various countries in Asia and Africa, including Pakistan.
On September 17th, 2024, Medion embarked on a visit to Pakistan, touring several cities such as Hyderabad, Abbottabad, Rawalpindi, Talagang, Faisalabad, Sargodha, and Lahore. During this trip, Benny Unandar, the Managing Director for International Markets, engaged with distributor teams and customers, encompassing integrators, large-scale farms, consultants, and university professors.
Beyond nurturing strong relationships, Medion facilitated educational initiatives through a series of technical seminars led by Dr. Yonatan Dimascahyo Budianto, DVM, MSc, MM, MBA, Global Technical Education Consultant. The seminars, held from September 18 to 25, 2024, centered on critical topics including Newcastle Disease (ND), Infectious Bronchitis (IB), and Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD). These sessions encouraged attendees to remain informed about the latest poultry disease developments in Pakistan and to collaboratively seek solutions to prevalent challenges in the field. The initiative was met with enthusiasm from all participants, as the seminars provided invaluable insights. Customers expressed their satisfaction with the efficacy of Medion’s vaccine products, highlighting their robust protection against disease outbreaks.
The visit culminated in Medion’s participation in IPEX Pakistan 2024, held from September 26 to 28, 2024. IPEX 2024 (International Poultry Expo) stands as the largest livestock exhibition routinely organized by the Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA). Hosted at the International Expo Centre in Lahore, the event featured 133 exhibitors from both local and international arenas. Medion took this opportunity to showcase its diverse range of Medivac products, fostering connections with both existing and prospective customers.
Through this series of initiatives, Medion not only broadened its marketing network in Pakistan but also reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the local poultry industry by providing top-tier products and introducing innovative solutions. Medion aspires to be a trusted partner for poultry health stakeholders in Pakistan, anticipating that this synergy will yield significant benefits for all parties involved and contribute to the growth of the livestock sector in the region.
